STANFORD EQUESTRIAN - Tales from the Paddock
- Last weekend The Team acquired a former HOYS winner called Henry a 17.3 grey (IDxTB) who has settled in extremely well and has already made a break for the lush grass in the neighboring paddock, proving that the grass is always greener on the other side. Leader of the herd JR (ISH) refused to comment on the newcomers behaviour.
- The paddocks are recovering nicely though JR freely admits that he is piling on the pounds.
- Tobi (Cob) is looking foward to mixing it with the other youngsters on the yard after cutting his nearside front fetlock as at present he is confined to munching the grass in the recuperation paddock on his own.
- The mares (Lotty and Winnie) are now out 24/7 in the canal paddock though they admit they are both missing their friends Maggy and Jazz who are at present on box rest.
OTHER NEWS AFFECTING PFC & SE
- The ducks have invaded the farm with many taking advantage of the barns to rear their young. Spilt grain means that it's time to party and all resevoir ducks are invited.
